Day 8

Went for a 40min return walk to the ATM today, now I am sunburnt. I am also now a millionaire.
I really miss footpaths.
found the nearest minimart (only supermarket isn't this side of town) but didn't buy anything. looks like they don't really do chocolate bars, lots of sponge and wafer snacks though. Brought a packet of chips from the market (not the minimart), thought they were plain, turns out they were nori seaweed flavour.
Also got some more phone credit. Confused about data but it looks like I might have to buy a dongle and a data sim, using the phone as a hot spot chews though the data.
Had indian for dinner with the other two volunteers, they recommended only the vegetation dishes though, for reasons you can guess.
Between 8 and 11pm had a hotted up car blasting music that was as if i had a loud TV in my room.
