Slept in today. Eventually got moving and went for a walk to the large market that I hadn't been to. Was hoping to find tension bars to make curtain rods, but alas. Did find a nail brush however.
I had been invited over for pizza at the translators place so I also brought a bag of garlic to make garlic bread. I only asked for one clove.
Often the lao store holders will get frustrated with you trying to work out which notes are which so they will lean over and offer to start taking notes out of your wallet when they see the right one. One took a note then gave change, they aren't scammers, just wanting to get back to work.
Stopped off at the Forest Hotel as I think I have lost my sunscreen. No luck however, no idea what happened to it, maybe it's in Savannakhet. Apparently Savannakhet is in Google's spell checker.
Headed over to the translators house for dinner where upon I started feeling queasy, ended up taking a bite going for a walk and then throwing up... I assured him that his pizza wasn't that bad. Not sure if it was the walk or food, felt better shortly afterwards.
