Work was quiet today as most people were at a meeting in the morning. Most of today was spent frantically labeling and sorting samples before wed next week, so they can be taken back to Australia.
About half an hour before lunch I was asked if I wanted to get a lift to the international women's day lunch they were going to (yes women's day is on Tuesday, that is also a day off.). The project lead and I realised we instead needed to go to a "meeting" as I am a bit over going to mic amped beer events and really needed to get my own work done. The lunch went for the rest of the day

Headed out to the bakery for lunch and got chicken burger, forgetting I had one for dinner last night.

After lunch I continued my work and discovered my co-worker would be away next week as he was going to go become a monk. The other co-worker would be away Monday and Tuesday for women's day.

Ended up doing a sample just before home time, only to discover a larger diversity than the last sample and ending up staying behind for an extra hour and a half.

Headed out to dinner to accidentally walk past some of the other volunteers/expats, so ended up eating at the Italian restaurant.

Headed home to do not much rather than join in post dinner drinks
