Got up to see the solar eclipse today then found it was very hazy, scratch that then.
Headed to meet up with the head of department and project lead for breakfast but managed to see the solar eclipse anyway, didn't have a viewer so I managed to see it though a tree in the reflection of a window, and through a mesh satellite dish. (it wasn't visible in Australia if you are wondering).

Got a lift to the airport today to head up to the capital for a meeting. Once I arrived I was told that my flight number doesn't exist, turns out whoever booked it had entered the cities in backwards so I had a ticket to Pakse today and a flight to Vientiane on Saturday. After some phone calls I was put on stand by and waited at home for a call, both flights came and went with no spare seats. I have been rebooked tomorrow but I arrive at 1pm, despite going up for the lunch at 12. I'm assured it will still be worth going.

Went for a walk for deodorant at night but they only have Lynx, I'll get some more in Vientiane. Had Gorgonzola pasta for dinner and a coke.

Landlady is amused by my coming and going with carry on luggage.
