Headed to collect my yellow pan traps this morning with a student, not my co-staff who seemed busy (maybe?). On the way there we got pulled over by a police check point. After a long conversation in Lao and some phone calls I paid 20000 kip ($3.30) and we headed off. I'm not clear what happened but I think the student didn't have a licence so I paid a fine. Wait, why did I...?
Got back and taught the staff insect orders and developing a poster on the insect orders. The samples I got them to sort has many errors, I think it will be my main focus while i'm here.
Spent the evening talking back home.
