Day 95
Monday 8th of February 2016
Woke up cold this morning, it dropped down to 14 overnight and I only had a light blanket with no doona or warm pajamas. Don't know if I prefer the hot or cold anymore.
Headed to work today to a fairly uneventful day, but feeling optimistic about current plans for my projects. Although I feel I should probably been at this point 2 months ago.
Counted insects in the morning and also gave the laptop that the parents had brought over to one of my colleagues. She was very excited to receive it, even though I had offered her the last one and she had nonchalantly told me to give it to the other colleague. I assume there may have been a pecking order at play... or straight up misogyny, hard to know.
Headed out for lunch of pho which we enjoyed over the sounds of dragon dancers and drums. Many red lanterns adorn the city at the moment.
After lunch I ran an english class. Not knowing what I was doing I just printed out a information sheet on an important insect and worked through it line by line. I think this worked quite well and I simply asked them questions about the line I just read.
Headed home after work where I had a nap (late dinners, blog writing and early starts were taking their toll), then had indian for dinner.
