Day 193

Woke up after a reasonable nights sleep, bar the too hot for the tropics doona Asia seems to insist on. The final leg of the train journey was scenic with a view similar to the great Ocean road.
Arrived at the De Nang station with our pick up waiting for us to take us to our Hoi An hotel. After check in, we dropped off washing and headed for a wonder of the unesco listed old town. It is a nice place similar in structure to Venice, with no motorbikes allowed in making it a welcome reprieve. After an afternoon wondering around looking at stalls and shops, we stopped off at a tailor to stock up on work gear for the coming period. Afterwards we got to look at the town lit up at night with lanterns, and night market night life. Tried a ring toss game and managed to win a small purse, although the cost to play was probably close to the items cost (about 25 cents). Got dinner next to the night market before heading back to the hotel.
