Day 196
Thursday 19th of May 2016
Slow start today before wandering around looking for a place that did passion fruit juice for breakfast.
Headed up to the tailor for Sheridans final fitting (apparently I was done), then back to the hotel for booking flights, hotels and changing our address with the AEC.
In the afternoon we hired bikes for one dollar to go to the beach. I asked about helmets but was told "they are for motobikes". Rode for about 20mins to arrive at 2 locals waving their arms and for us to stop and park our bikes. Not sure if we had to but it was only a dollar to do so, and at least they were watched.
Beach was nice, if very touristy. Waves had lots of sand banks. Many tourists in skimpy swimwear with no regard of local customs.
Road back, stopping at a tomb of a trader from a bygone era, then back to the hotel for a shower.
Headed out to dinner and searching for peanut lollies. Had hamburgers for dinner after several meals of local specialties.
Stayed up late completely repacking my bag to fit the new tailoring in.
Hope the airline doesn't weigh my hand luggage.
