Went to the company that asked for my help with a pest insect to tell them I had identified it, they were glad of the identification but wished it were easier to treat. Still, brownie points.

Afterwards headed out for lunch where I got 50% off (it was meant to be a sale for regulars, whom I happen to have been sitting with, I had only been once before), and then over the the police station to pick up my passport. The guard looked like he wanted to ask why I was there but seemingly lost interest when he asked if I spoke english or lao.

Also headed to the market to get some specimen containers. They are my first specimen containers I have owned with plastic flowers on them.

Local counterpart asked me (actually indicated) to write up a plan about what I was going to do over the coming weeks. I don't then he realised that I only just found out and wasn't previously being coy about the project.

Currently awaiting some tradies to install a fly screen that was arranged after lunch. They were meant to come at 5, it's currently 8. I think i'll have to give up on them and go get dinner before everything closes.
