Day 35

Headed up to a trial farm today, which I wasn't needed for but took some samples anyway. So 6 of us jumped into the 4WD (do the maths) and headed up.
This trial plot was run by another aid organisation who had planted a test plot of tomatoes next to a plot of pathogen infected tomatoes resulting in large losses. The other group rarely visited and asked us to inspect to work out what went wrong, which was obvious. The other group were aiming for integrated pest management and therefore had not used chemicals that can control phytophthora (aka potato blight) which is odd because IPM still involves chemicals when needed...which it currently is.
Afterwards we got back just in time for lunch. After lunch we sorted and classified insects but had to leave at 3:30 as everyone in the office was heading out to their office soccer game.
Our office team won 3-1.
