Decided to do the Boloven plateau loop today, a 2 day tour of the waterfalls and ethnic group of the Boloven plateau. First stop was Tad Pa Suam waterfall and ethnic minority village. It was good to walk under the shade of trees for a change and the waterfall was nice, although not flowing fully as it's the dry season.
Next stop was where we were staying the night, Tad Lo and its two waterfalls. Only saw the first today, but went for a swim. Nice spot for it but very slippery rocks.
Got dinner at a random restaurant, which turned out the owners are friends with the owners of my usual back in Pakse. Also met someone who knows our translator so we chatted away till bed time.
Most places were booked out when we arrived so we are staying in what could be described as a stilted hut. Has a mosquito net and a fan.
Will post photos tomorrow no thanks to this phone app.
