Day 73
Sunday 17th of January 2016
Spent this morning assisting our translator to move house and had the pleasure of moving a large ridged mattress up a narrow winding staircase. It took 3 men about half an hour to move it 10 meters.
Afterwards I was treated to lunch as per the rules.
The afternoon was exciting as I brought my very own toilet brush. Although I spent longer at the market than I intended as a sudden tropical downpour left me standard for 15 mins or so looking at plastic home wears.
The rest of the afternoon was spent catching up on emails that I had neglected during Sheridan's visit, my inbox is so much cleaner and I feel ready for Monday once again.
I also used some shoe polish I brought to clean my work shoes up. This turned out to be a mistake as my whole room now smells like a paint shop. I have had to put the shoes outside but the smell is not dissipating, hopefully it will dry out.
My toilet is once again clean of red dust stains from the tank water.
