Sleep in today for a shopping day to make the most of the time I have left with Sheridan, up until I got a call from one of the local staff telling me that the head of the department was looking for me. So I headed off to the office to walk straight into an in progress meeting with university heads asking for my involvement in a study. I would have thought that telling people of important meetings should occur more than an hour beforehand, especially when they are on leave, but I am old fashioned. I asked them to email me the details of their study, which I was later told is a good way to shirk work as many over here do not like to use emails.

Afterwards we grabbed breakfast (they forgot the coconut), We went to go shopping but sheridan suddenly started to feel unwell. Turns out the same story played out with most of the volunteers who attended the wedding. Somehow I was spared. So today turned into a lazy afternoon, but still managed to make it to the small market.

Went to pick up Sheridan's sinh, although it turned out it was 5 o'clock tomorrow, not today.

For dinner I met up with the project lead, who will be here for a while, as he arrived today. The wheels are starting to turn.
