Day 62
Wednesday 6th of January 2016
After the breakfast we went for a walk to see the second waterfall that we missed yesterday. Rather uninspiring during the dry season as it turns out. So we continued on around to complete the "Boloven plateau loop". After stopping for lunch in the small town of Paksong we arrived at the most well regarded waterfall of the region Tad Gneuang. Many stairs to the bottom but worth the trip, and the mist was lovely.
We continued on to see the next and last waterfall, only to miss the turn off and not realise. We think it was a narrow dirt track and may only have been signed from one direction. Signage is not really a thing in Laos. Still we weren't too worried by that stage, we had seen four waterfalls and plenty of driving.
After we got back I picked up my passport no problem and then went shopping with Sheridan. For dinner we met up with the new volunteer and the rest of the crew.
