Day 77

Field work today, heading up about 3/4 of the way to Savannakhet. The others looked at infected plants, tried to identify the infections and took samples. While I took predominantly random samples of things eating plants. I collected 3 types of caterpillars, hopefully I can raise them to adulthood.
We also stopped for some watermelons from a road side stall. The farmers like them here as they don't need to be packaged and this is a country largely without refrigerated trucks.
The two hour drive home gave me a good opportunity to get some sleep.
Had Italian for dinner with the project lead and translator.
